Rosstrappen Downhill 2026

The Rosstrappendownhill in Thale is one of the most traditional downhill races in Germany. Every year, the track of the same name in Bikepark Bodetal transforms into a race arena, attracting riders from all over Europe and thousands of spectators to the northeastern slope of the Rosstrappe. The Rosstrappendownhill track is the flagship of Bikepark Bodetal and is open all year round. It is about two kilometers long with a 250-meter drop, starting a few meters from the mountain station of the chairlift and ending at the parking lot in Bodetal. The race will take place on September 18th and 19th, 2026, as part of the Gravity Cup. Spectators can enjoy the action for free from various spots along the track.
