Informazioni su questa gara
The Rotenburger City-Lauf is a Sunday road race held in Rotenburg (Wümme), beginning at Große Str. 1 in the town center. The event caters to a local audience with a free Bambini run for young children, a 2.5 km Schüler-Lauf for school-age runners, and 5 km and 10 km races for older juniors and adults. Sport Lehmann is the organizer, with assistance from ABSOLUTE RUN Bremen, Sparkasse Rotenburg Osterholz, and Oetjen Logistik. The participant limit is 2,000, and chip timing is provided for the main races.
The race offers a straightforward and functional setup: marked routes, course marshals, a guided warm-up prior to the start, refreshments at the finish area, and additional on-course drinks for the 10 km participants. The 5 km race has a 50-minute time limit, and the 10 km allows 90 minutes. All finishers receive a medal, including the Bambini runners, and the top three women and men are awarded prizes. The inaugural event attracted nearly 400 athletes, with Niklas Horstmann winning the 10 km in 33:43 and Katharina Saathoff winning the women's race.
