Informazioni su questa gara
The Sieben-Quellen-Crosslauf is a cross-country running event held at the Paesmühle in Straelen, situated near the German-Dutch border. Organized by SV 19 Straelen e.V., it features short forest races tailored for various age groups, accommodating participants from young children to senior runners. This marks the event's ninth running and it is included in the Niederrheinische Waldlaufcup, a regional forest-running series with over ten years of history.
The course navigates forest paths surrounding the Sieben Quellen. Separate races are conducted for children, youth, adults, and seniors, ensuring distinct competition fields. The youngest participants compete over approximately 1,040 meters, the intermediate race covers about 3,800 meters, and the longest distance is around 5,450 meters. The event resumed following a cancellation due to weather conditions. It benefits from the involvement of the Dutch running club Orion Venlo and the Interreg program, contributing to its cross-border character beyond a typical club event in Straelen.
