Informazioni su questa gara
Denmark’s national road race championship for women aged 19 to 22, the U23 DM Linieløb, takes place at the end of June under Danmarks Cykle Union. The U23 title is not contested separately; young riders begin in the same group as the elite women, allowing for both elite and U23 medals to be awarded from a single finish.
This shared field is the key element. Should an U23 rider finish first overall, she claims both the elite Danish championship and the U23 Danish championship. If she finishes second overall but is the leading U23 rider, she secures elite silver and the U23 title. The race was established following the introduction of women’s U23 world titles, providing Danish women with an age-group pathway similar to the one Danish men already had for road racing. Solbjørk Minke Anderson won the inaugural event, and Alberte Greve holds the record with two victories in the event's brief history.
