Alhama Trail

Alhama Trail is a charity mountain race and hiking event held in Alhama de Murcia, taking place in the Sierra de la Muela above the town. It provides competitive trail and promo races, alongside a non-competitive hiking route, catering to runners seeking a result and walkers who prefer the mountain route without the competitive aspect. The course crosses the Sierra de la Muela and a section of the Barrancos de Gebas, featuring a blend of upland paths and ravine terrain near Alhama. The Alhama COYM club organizes the event. Recent route updates indicate adjustments to the ascent towards Alhama castle, the access from the town center to the sierra, the finish approach for most categories, and the final descent of the hiking route.
