Barcelona Spartan Weekend

The Barcelona Spartan Weekend takes place in Santa Susanna, a resort town on the Catalan coast approximately 50 minutes from Barcelona. This event, held in October, offers participants the option of a single race or a full Trifecta Weekend, requiring completion of the Sprint, Super, and Beast distances. Open heats and a Kids Race are also part of the schedule, accommodating competitive racers, teams, and families seeking multiple starts. The course is situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains, incorporating beaches, wooded trails, elevation changes, and runnable sections. The Beast, the longest event at 21K with 30 obstacles, is designed for athletes seeking the maximum distance and obstacle challenge. This location provides a distinct atmosphere compared to a flat urban obstacle course, as participants navigate coastal terrain and hillier natural sections near a bustling holiday town.
