Carrera Pedestre Las Lagartijas, also known as Los Lagartijas, is a popular foot race held in Rades de Abajo, Segovia province, Spain. It typically takes place on the first weekend of October, coinciding with the Virgen del Rosario festivities, and is part of the Segovia circuit of foot races. The primary race covers 8.4 kilometers, with shorter distances available for cadets and children, a 3.8K walking route, and non-competitive running distances of 12.6K and 4K. Club Rades de Abajo and the Ayuntamiento of Pedraza organize the event, with Club Rades de Abajo assisting since 2016.
The 8.4K course follows local paths and forest tracks surrounding the municipality, crossing holm oak and juniper woodland and passing a granite boulder area before concluding in Rades de Abajo. This is a village race deeply connected to local festival traditions. Past entry packages have included a T-shirt and meal, and registration is open to adults, cadets, children, walkers, and runners, not exclusively competitive athletes. Minors require signed authorization, highlighting the family-oriented nature of the event alongside its race program.
