Informazioni su questa gara
Granuja Xtreme is a trail race in Pradoluengo, Burgos, Spain, held in October with three options: a 27 km race, a 16 km race, or a 12 km march. The 27 km Granuja Extreme is the most difficult, featuring 1,500 metres of elevation gain intended for experienced runners. The 16 km Granuja race includes 750 metres of climbing and is suited for those seeking a competitive, physical run. The Pícara march spans 12 km with 500 metres of climbing, offering walkers and less race-oriented participants a more accessible entry into the event.
The race takes place in mountain and trail terrain, embracing mud, rough ground, and a spirited "granuja" character over a polished road-race atmosphere. The 16 km course combines technical, challenging sections with quicker segments, while the longest route is designed to test runners with greater elevation gain. Pimiento Negro organizes the event, and participants receive a bib package with distinctive gifts. The field typically comprises seasoned trail runners, competitive short-course racers, and individuals opting for the march to appreciate the scenery without tackling the full 27 km distance.
