Mitja Marató Ciutat de Vilanova

The Mitja Marató Ciutat de Vilanova begins and ends at the Municipal Athletics Tracks in Vilanova i la Geltrú, a coastal city in the province of Barcelona. This December road race offers a certified 21.097 km half marathon and a 10K option, allowing participants to select the full half-marathon distance or a shorter city race included in the same event. The half marathon follows an asphalt urban route through Vilanova i la Geltrú’s main and most characteristic streets, featuring kilometer markers. The course includes approximately 90 meters of elevation gain and 90 meters of descent. Timing is managed with Champion Chip technology, and judges from the Catalan Athletics Federation will be present. This race has a history of at least 36 editions. Bib and chip collection is available before race morning, with awards presented at the athletics tracks post-race.
