Mitja Marató de Menorca 2026

The Mitja Marató de Menorca is the island’s only half marathon, a 21.097 km race beginning in the center of Ciutadella and concluding beside the Mediterranean Sea. The event also includes a 10 km race and a popular run, catering to various runner types. It is organized by Elitechip SL, Club Menorca Atletisme, the Menorca delegation of the FAIB, the Consell Insular de Menorca sports department, and Ciutadella’s town council. The half marathon route crosses Ciutadella’s old streets, featuring cobbles, squares, ancient buildings, palaces, historic churches, and views of old fortifications. The course is not flat, with runners encountering climbs and descents over the 21.097 km. After twenty-five years, the race attracts participants globally and has achieved record numbers around its anniversary edition.
