The Semi-Marathon de Vera is a two-lap urban half marathon held in Vera, Spain, starting and finishing on Puerto Rey Avenue. Organized by Club de Atletismo Sureste and Vera City Council, it follows the standard 21.097 km distance and is in its twelfth edition. A 10 km popular race is also part of the event, offering an option for those not participating in the full half marathon.
The course winds through Vera’s well-known and iconic areas, featuring kilometer markers, aid stations, and required checkpoints. The event also includes non-competitive school races for children, covering short distances from 50 to 1,000 meters for age groups from the youngest up to cadets. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each category, and all registered participants receive a commemorative technical shirt.
