Bike & Run E.LECLERC - Les Sables-d'Olonne

The Bike & Run E.LECLERC - Les Sables-d'Olonne is a two-person team event near Les Sables-d'Olonne in Vendée, featuring a single shared bicycle. Teammates alternate between running and cycling, switching roles at their own pace. The event takes place in November at the Granges site in Olonne-sur-Mer, offering four race distances: Youth 1 (ages 6-9), Youth 2 (ages 10-13), a 9 km XS race, and an 18 km S race. The course guides teams through the forests and marshes surrounding Olonne-sur-Mer, with the proximity of the sea distinguishing it from a road race. Organized by Les Sables Vendée Triathlon, team entries are limited to 150 for safety reasons. Originally held at the Château d'Olonne site, a new organizing committee revived the race to highlight the Olonne-sur-Mer region. The day is designed for families, including youth competitions, mixed-team options, bib-number prize drawings sponsored by Leclerc, and a tartiflette offering at the aid station.
