The Corrida de Paimpol is a night running event held in Paimpol, on the Côtes-d’Armor coast of Brittany. Its main activities take place in the town center and around the port. This year marks its 10th anniversary, drawing over 2,000 runners and at least 5,000 spectators to the port, giving it the feel of a town-wide event. The schedule includes five routes, among them a popular 9.9 km race that often fills before race day, and a 7.6 km walk.
The primary course follows the paved streets of central Paimpol and the harbor, fully lit throughout, eliminating the need for headlamps. Approximately 1,000 runners participate in the 9.9 km race, with all finishers receiving local products. A portion of the proceeds benefits four Paimpol associations. The walk begins from the Salle des Fêtes in small groups, guided by the Bipèdes du Goëlo, and features a stop at an artisanal chocolate workshop.
