Foulée Chesnaysienne

La Foulée Chesnaysienne takes place in early October in Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt, located in the Yvelines west of Paris. Organized by Le Chesnay Sports with support from the local municipality, it functions more as a community event than a singular road race. Participants can choose from various options including running, walking, Nordic walking, and events for children and juniors. The primary distances offered are concise and practical: children can opt for a 1 km or 3 km run, while adults have a choice of a 10 km run, a 10 km walk, or a 10 km Nordic walk using poles. The courses traverse forest paths surrounding the town, making the event suitable for those who prefer trail running without the commitment of a mountain race. Fields in recent years have approached one thousand participants, contributing to its atmosphere as a well-attended local event rather than a small club gathering.
