Informazioni su questa gara
The Jurassic Trail is a late-November trail race held in Saint-Siffret, a village in the Gard department of Occitanie, southern France. The primary format is a short trail of about 18 km, or 17.5 km depending on the listing, with approximately 500 metres of elevation gain. It is a compact race, not an ultra, but the organizers emphasize genuine trail running: narrow singletrack, steep short climbs, and sufficiently technical terrain to distinguish it from a road race in the countryside.
The route begins and ends in Saint-Siffret, circling Uzès and Saint-Maximin through vineyards, woodlands, and natural areas. This event is in its 16th year and attracted over 300 runners previously, giving it the character of a local tradition rather than a large festival. A new T-Rex race introduces a lighthearted element: a 200-metre costume run without bibs. The race maintains an ecological and solidarity-focused ethos, aligning with its small-village trail environment.
