Kemperloise

La Kemperloise is a solidarity race and walk held at Place Saint-Michel in Quimperlé, Finistère. It features 3 km and 6 km routes through the town, suitable for walkers, beginners, families, and runners, without the pressure of a competitive road race. The entry fee is affordable, with online registration via HelloAsso and a slightly higher fee for on-site sign-ups. Proceeds benefit the pediatric department at Quimperlé hospital and the Ligue contre le cancer. The day begins with a musical warm-up led by Open Forme before the 10:00 AM start, with music continuing along the course. The area around the start line hosts exhibitions, additional activities, food vendors, and crêpes, contributing to a local community atmosphere rather than a standard timed event. This is the eighth edition of La Kemperloise, and the organizing association is seeking additional volunteers to assist with the event.
