La Fontenaisienne - 5 km 2026

The La Fontenaisienne Mile is a 1.609 km road race held in Fontenay-aux-Roses, located in the Hauts-de-Seine department near Paris. It takes place in June as part of the La Fontenaisienne meeting. The mile race is scheduled after the youth events and the 5 km race. As a classic mile, it is significantly shorter and faster than a standard local road race. The races commence in front of the Théâtre des Sources on Avenue Jeanne et Maurice Dolivet. The event also features a 1.5 km race for children aged 6 to 9, a 3 km race for children aged 10 to 14, and a 5 km race for participants aged 15 and above. The inaugural event attracted over 800 runners. The Mile was introduced for experienced runners and middle-distance specialists, with organizers targeting a French record attempt.
