Informazioni su questa gara
La Stépha'Night is a first-edition night race in Saint-Étienne-sur-Chalaronne, a village in the Ain department of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. It is connected to the village festival and organized by the local Stéphanois festival committee. Runners can choose between approximately 6.5 km and 14.5 km, with the longer race beginning at 9 PM and the shorter one starting soon after. Walkers are also welcome, with 4.5 km and 6.5 km options and a free start from 7 PM.
The routes incorporate both roads and paths, making it not a pure road race despite the short and accessible distances. The atmosphere is intentionally festive: participants are encouraged to wear bright clothing, bring a positive attitude, and embrace the Saturday-night party theme. It is not part of any challenge series, suggesting it is more of a village celebration with running and walking integrated than a competitive event. The practical arrangements are straightforward: the village center and its festival hall function as the hub, with reasonable entry fees for the two running distances.
