La trace des maquisards 2027

La Trace des Maquisards is a February night trail race held in Oyonnax, located in the Ain department of France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The primary challenge is the extended mountain effort: the ultra course covers approximately 99 to 100 km with over 4,000 meters of elevation gain. Shorter options are available, with distances around 42 km, 30 km, 28 km, 15 km, 10 km, or 7 km. The race incorporates trails, altitude, darkness, and local history, with the 7 km route also taking place at night. Individual runners can select a distance suited to their abilities, while teams can participate in the 100 km relay, where pacing, exchanges, and collective effort are as significant as individual speed.
