La Vela Corsa - 11 km 2026

La Vela Corsa is an evening running event in Sillingy, Haute-Savoie, featuring an 11 km relay for two-person teams. Each participant runs 5.5 km. The main race is open to cadets, juniors, and adults. The local Sill'N Run association organizes this sporting and festive day, which also includes races for families and children. The 11 km course includes approximately 100 meters of elevation gain, making it a short team race with some climbing rather than a flat run. Families can compete together in a 3.3 km Family Team Race, while children have adapted non-competitive races ranging from 1 km to 2.2 km, plus a 200 m Discovery race for the youngest. Refreshments are provided by sponsors and feature local products. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Sou des écoles de Sillingy, supporting local nursery and primary schools.
