Informazioni su questa gara
The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is an April marathon through the French capital, with nearly 60,000 runners on the start list. It is not just a race for fast club athletes: almost half the field is running its first marathon, and the entries bring together runners from 126 nationalities. Women now make up about a third of the field, showing how quickly participation is widening.
The route passes through 7 Paris arrondissements, with around 250,000 spectators lining the course. The fastest performances are serious: the men's course record is 2:04:21, and the women's record is 2:19:48. The race also has very Paris-specific details at street level, including more than 6 tons of apples and pears handed out to runners, no single-use containers distributed, and a finisher reward called “la Médaille qui régale,” or “the medal that delights.”
