Montée de la madeleine - Saint-Dié-des-Vosges 2026

Montée de la Madeleine is a mountain race in the Vosges, beginning at GÉOPARC in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges and concluding at the Col du Haut-Jacques. The course follows a climb through the Madeleine massif, with 98% of the route on natural trails. Participants can select a 15 km option with 800 metres of elevation gain or a 10 km option with 500 metres of gain. A non-timed 10 km walk with 500 metres of ascent is also available. The course is fully marked, emphasizing off-road climbing over road speed. The 15 km race includes an aid station near the halfway point and another at the finish. The 10 km race and walk have an aid station solely at the finish. Outside assistance is prohibited. Entry is limited to 500 participants, maintaining a relatively small field. A complimentary shuttle service returns participants from the finish to GÉOPARC. Dogs are not permitted in the races but are allowed on the walk. A small gift is provided upon bib collection.
