Informazioni su questa gara
SwimRun Côte Vermeille begins at the Esplanade Charles Trenet in Argelès-sur-Mer, sending participants along France’s Mediterranean border country in June. This is a swimrun weekend, meaning athletes alternate running and swimming rather than performing one continuous discipline. The schedule includes a 4 km youth race with 46 m of elevation gain up to a 63 km ultra with 2,498 m of elevation gain, featuring short, middle, long, individual, team, and relay options.
The courses connect Argelès, Collioure, Port-Vendres, Banyuls, and Cerbère on the Côte Vermeille. Consequently, the longer races involve not only distance but also repeated ascents above the sea. CHALLENGE 02 is the organizer, and its inclusion on the ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Merit Race circuit is significant for athletes following the broader swimrun calendar. The youth race broadens the weekend beyond a purely elite gathering, and the 63 km course's relay option allows teams to participate in the main format without a single pair covering the entire distance.
