Trail de la Forêt de Russy 2026

Nearly 3,000 runners participate over the weekend at the Trail de la Forêt de Russy – Foulées Gervaisiennes in Saint-Gervais-la-Forêt, a trail-running event in Loir-et-Cher offering race options from about 5 km up to 27 km. The main Sunday program features three trail distances, with around 1,300 runners registered across them, catering to both short-distance runners and those seeking a longer forest race. The courses utilize the Russy forest area. The organizing club, Courir à Saint-Gervais, recently updated the routes following guidance from the National Forestry Office. Local runners feature prominently at the front of the race: Lucas Taveau won the long race after many years of podium finishes, while Martin Le Brun, Romane Rhodon, Paul Peschard, and Louane Pasnon were among the winners and leading women over the shorter distances.
