Trail des gaulois - Charmes-sur-Rhône

Trail des Gaulois is a mid-October trail race held in Charmes-sur-Rhône, Ardèche. Adults can select between 10 km and 17 km courses, both featuring significant elevation gain: the 10 km route ascends 453 meters, and the 17 km route ascends 760 meters. The event includes separate races for younger participants: a 2 km Petits Gaulois for ages 12-15 and a 1 km Minis Gaulois for ages 8-11. XV de Cœur organizes the race, framing it as a local gathering with a Gaulois theme evident in the children's race names and the playful phrase “to do without magic potion.” The prior edition attracted over 300 participants. Registration fees are reasonable: adult bibs cost 14 EUR for the 10 km and 17 EUR for the 17 km, while the children's races are priced at 3 EUR.
