Trail Faverges-Seythenex

The Trail Faverges-Seythenex is an October trail-running series held in Faverges, Haute-Savoie, situated near the sources of Lake Annecy in eastern France. The races are located within the Massif des Bauges Regional Natural Park, featuring mountain terrain, paths along the lake, and forested sections near the south end of Lake Annecy. Participants can select from multiple race formats: 15 km, 26 km, and the 42 km Tour de la Sambuy, alongside a 12 km walk, a 42 km relay, and children's races of 600 m and 2 km. The 42 km race presents a challenging mountain course with 3,350 m of elevation gain. The 26 km Trail de l'Eau Froide includes 1,600 m of climbing, and the 15 km Trail des Hameaux offers a shorter distance with 550 m of ascent. The event attracts a diverse group of participants, including children, walkers, relay teams, and seasoned trail runners, with over 1,500 finishers recorded in a recent running. It also holds UTMB and ITRA labels, providing recognized results for competitive runners and serving as a demanding autumn race in the Bauges for local participants.
