Informazioni su questa gara
Country to Capital is a 43-mile point-to-point ultra from Buckinghamshire into central London, run in winter to open the British ultra running season. It starts near Wendover at 8:45am and typically sells out, attracting elite runners as well as first-time or club-level ultra runners from across the globe.
The route starts on Buckinghamshire country lanes, crosses the M25 via a bridge, goes through Denham, and then follows the Grand Union Canal towpath for the final section into London. The finish is indoors near the Little Venice canal basin, with facilities available after the canal miles. Country to Capital also has significance beyond race day: it is a launch race for the Grand Slam series, awards 3 ITRA points, and qualifies runners for Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc.
