Allora, c'è questa nuotata benefica annuale, che quest'anno è già alla sua quarta edizione. La fanno in ricordo di Victoria Hall-Hulme. Puoi scegliere tra due distanze, 750m o 1.5k, e serve a raccogliere fondi per Bowel Cancer UK e St Wilfrid's Hospice.
The Big Bathe serve proprio a unire le persone per "essere coraggiosi come Victoria", e per "trasformare il dolore in forza e le difficoltà in trionfo". Così si supportano cause importanti per i giovani e anche un hospice qui in zona. Danno il benvenuto a tutti, dai nuotatori più lenti a quelli più veloci, insomma, a chiunque voglia dimostrare un po' di coraggio.
