The 38th Pezsgőfutás és Velencei-tó kör has the character of an end-of-year club race, not a polished production: a genuinely “family-style running event,” incorporating children’s, junior, adult, masters, and veteran categories into the schedule. A practical runner’s day is planned: bib collection occurs early, with participants on the lake loop starting first, followed by the children’s races and shorter adult events. All finishers receive a medal, timing is chip-based, and the finish area offers the kind of small-race amenities I always value: High5 refreshments, medical support, fatty bread, and warm tea. The most distinctive feature is the costume run, available on all routes, with a panel selecting the most amusing outfits during the awards ceremony.
