Halas Square hosts the 18th BorsodChem Tour de Tisza-tó, a cycling event centered on Tisza-tó and the steady pace of the lake road. The core idea is straightforward: ride a bike and "discover and cycle around this beautiful landscape," whether that's a relaxed family outing, a group ride with friends, or a demanding personal challenge. The routes begin on the Tisza-tó cycle path, circling through locations such as Abádszalók, Kisköre, and Poroszló. A longer route extends alongside the Nagykunság Main Canal before returning to the starting point.
