HTC Winter Duathlon Series - Race 1

Informazioni su questa gara
KartSport Hamilton on Airport Road in Ōhaupō shapes this winter duathlon: tight, controlled, and built around a closed-course circuit. It is the first of a three-part winter series, more club-race practical than glossy, with the HTC Winter Duathlon Series - Race 1 putting runners and riders into a “traffic-free environment” from the start.
The course is flat and contained, so the work is in pacing, transitions, and handling corners cleanly rather than dealing with open-road traffic. Confident riders and experienced racers can line up under “Tri NZ drafting rules” and “amateur bike racing etiquette,” while juniors, newcomers, and beginners get the same course in a non-competitive format focused on “safe spacing rather than racing in a peloton.” This makes it a practical choice for seasoned competitors chasing fast closed-circuit racing, and for newer athletes wanting to practice technical cornering and transitions without excessive pressure.
