Informazioni su questa gara
Bieg Sokoła starts and finishes at Rynek 1, beside the Municipal and City Office in Sokołów Małopolski in Poland’s Podkarpackie region. It is a local road-running event organized by the Municipal-Communal Cultural Sports and Recreation Center, with support from the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The program offers runners several choices: recent editions included short children’s and youth races, a 5 km race, and a main race that has used distances such as 10 km or 12 km. The shorter races begin earlier in the morning, and the main race and 5 km race start together.
The course is on asphalt. The smallest distances are for younger runners: 1 km for children aged 10 and under, and 2 km for ages 11 to 15. The main race uses age categories, catering to competitive local runners and recreational participants. Entry numbers indicate a community race rather than a large city event, with one edition listing 188 registered runners across 12 km, 5 km, and 1.5 km distances. Organizers provide starting packages, awards, medical care, and a meal, giving the event the feel of a town race focused on participation, local sport, and showcasing Sokołów Małopolski to visitors.
