Informazioni su questa gara
Ultra Turnicki is a trail-running series held in Huwniki, a village in Poland’s Podkarpacie region, situated in the Wiar River valley approximately 30 minutes from Przemyśl. The summer race takes place around the summer solstice, featuring distances of 10, 24, 48, and 75 km. The winter edition offers shorter cold-season options of about 15 and 36 to 38 km.
The courses traverse steep climbs and forest trails within the Pogórze Przemyskie, north of the Bieszczady Mountains. This area was formerly inaccessible to the public, serving as the Arłamów government retreat. The longer summer routes include named courses like Pomocna Woda and Połoniny Trail. The 75 km route involves an ascent of approximately 1,714 meters, and the 48 km route climbs about 1,320 meters. Ultra Turnicki appeals to runners seeking less crowded terrain than typical mountain ranges. The summer event coincides with the Wianki w Turnickim festival, which includes workshops. The winter race provides hot coffee and includes a charitable component benefiting the village community center in Huwniki.
