The Gobbler race in Fort Pierce, Florida, begins near the tennis courts at 5990 Emerson Avenue, offering runners four distance options: 5K, 10K, half marathon, and marathon. The event commences at 8:30 AM, with packet pickup available 30 minutes prior. Registration must be completed on RunSignup before race day, as no on-site sign-ups are permitted. The course consists of asphalt with repeated out-and-back segments, meaning participants will traverse the same path multiple times rather than completing a large loop. The 5K involves one out-and-back, the 10K two, the half marathon four, and the marathon eight, all within a 6-hour time limit. Restrooms are located in the pavilion close to the start. The race provides finisher medals, awards, series points, a gear shop, and a best costume prize.

Chimpathon offers a 5K and 10K run/walk within Save the Chimps, a 150-acre sanctuary typically closed to the public. This sanctuary houses nearly 220 chimpanzees rescued from research, entertainment, and the pet trade. The race provides a unique opportunity to visit their home, alongside being a timed road event. Participants can select the 5K or 10K, with VIP options for fundraisers and a virtual 5K for those unable to attend. The course is flat and chip-timed, utilizing the entire loop of the sanctuary, accessible only on Chimpathon day. The event is open to teens and adults, with fundraising integrated into the race. The initial 100 individuals who raise $500 become VIP Chimp Champs, aiming for a total of $50,000, which supports a year of care for two sanctuary residents.
