Beach to Beer takes place on an October race morning in Colonial Beach, Virginia, featuring a 10K, a 5K, and a non-timed 1-mile walk. The 5K and 10K are chip-timed with live results, while the 1-mile option provides a relaxed way for walkers and children to participate. The 5K and 10K follow a flat, fast course along the Potomac side of Colonial Beach, concluding at Colonial Beach Brewing. Walkers in the 5K begin after the runners, and the 5K has a 1-hour time limit. Awards are presented to the top three overall finishers and the top three in each age group for both timed races, with age groups for participants 14 and under. Post-race, Colonial Beach Brewing and Ice House Brewery serve local craft beer, and the race benefits BAMM.

The Spirit of Inclusion 5K is a community race hosted by Ainsley's Angels at Hopyard Farms. This residential neighborhood hosts the main 5K event in the afternoon. Participants can join in several ways: an in-person 5K, as an Angel Pusher, an Athlete Rider, a virtual 5K, or by running the Hopyard Harvest Mile or Hopyard Harvest Half Mile. The 5K route is mostly flat, winding through neighborhood streets where many residents come out to support runners, walkers, riders, and DUO teams. Participants are invited to wear costumes for the yearly contest, and spectators gather to cheer for their favorite runners and athlete-rider pairings. The event's core principle is practical inclusion, aiming to help athletes cross the finish line together.

The Trick Or Trot Crab Trot 5K is a Halloween-season run/walk on Cobb Island, following a full loop of the island’s perimeter. It is a chip-timed 5K, designed for walkers and runners of all ages and fitness levels, not solely for those aiming for a fast time. The race proceeds rain or shine, with standard registration at $40. The course circles Cobb Island, offering water views along Neale Sound, the Potomac River, and the Wicomico River. The crab theme adds to the enjoyment: participants are encouraged to wear crab-themed costumes or gear, with a prize awarded for the best costume. This marks the fourth annual running of the event, and early registrants are assured a finisher medal and race T-shirt.
