19th Annual McGee Lungbuster

The McGee Lungbuster is a fall mountain bike race weekend held at The Ridgeland Trails in Ridgeland, Mississippi. The start is located at the Tri-County Mountain Bike Association site on Giles Lane in nearby Madison. The race distances range from a short 4.8 km option to 38.6 km, with intermediate options of 9.7 km, 19.3 km, and 25.7 km, allowing riders to select a quick trail effort or a longer ride. Tri-County Mountain Bike Association organizes this event. The weekend includes activities beyond racing, such as music, games, local food, and opportunities for spectating. Race-day registration is offered for an additional fee. Volunteers assist with check-in, course marshaling, and sweeping the course behind each group to ensure the trail remains clear. This is the 19th annual edition of the event, establishing it as a local trail-racing tradition.
