2026 Happy Girls Sisters

Happy Girls Sisters is the Sisters, Oregon race in the Happy Girls Run series, an all-women running series from Lay It Out Events with races in Bend, Spokane, and Sisters. The Sisters event offers a trail half marathon and 5K and 10K road races, giving runners a choice between forest trails and a shorter town route. The half marathon uses the Peterson Ridge Trail system in the Deschutes National Forest, featuring single-track sections and forest views. The 5K and 10K wind through downtown Sisters, and every distance finishes at the FivePine campus under tall Ponderosa pines. The half marathon is capped at 500 runners and sells out annually, indicating strong demand and a risk for late registration.
