Informazioni su questa gara
The New Year's Eve Loop-the-Lake Run is a 15K fun run around White Rock Lake in Dallas, beginning at the Filter Building at 7 am. Participants can choose to run or walk any portion of the loop, allowing them to cover a distance that suits their morning, making the event feel more like a community gathering than a competitive race.
The course follows the lake's perimeter. This event originated from a small New Year's Eve run among friends, evolving into Dallas's longest-standing fun run around White Rock Lake. Don Hunter and Beth Crider established the Dallas Loop the Lake Foundation. The event now generates funds for Marathon Kids, a nonprofit organization that encourages children to adopt active lifestyles via school and community physical activity initiatives. The foundation has contributed over $240,000 to Marathon Kids, and each registration is also entered into a prize raffle.
