Informazioni su questa gara
The Baker Lake Classic 25K is a point-to-point trail race at Baker Lake in Washington, organized by NW Endurance Events. Participants begin at Kulshan Campground, with bus transport to the start, giving the event a backcountry shuttle atmosphere rather than a typical loop from a parking area.
The course traces the eastern shore of Baker Lake from north to south, winding through old-growth forest. Douglas firs, moss, and lichen are prevalent along the trail. Runners will see views of Mt. Baker, pass cedar snags from a past forest fire, and observe native plants like western trillium, twinflower, foamflower, coralroot, and twisted stalk. The 50K race is conducted separately, positioning the 25K as a distinct shorter trail event, not merely a partial segment of a longer race.
