Informazioni su questa gara
The Bold For Gold Tour 3K begins its national tour in Arlington, Texas, featuring a 3K walk at Bob Cooke Park. This event is organized by the Jacob Way Organization in partnership with Arlington Parks and Recreation's East Recreation Center, focusing on childhood cancer awareness and support for families with children undergoing treatment. Participants can register as Gold Heroes (adults), Junior Heroes (children 12 and under), or select the Virtual Hero option, known as Sleep in for the Cause, for those unable to attend.
The morning is structured as a community gathering rather than a competitive race. It includes team participation, donation opportunities, music, snacks at the finish line, and a Community Resource Fair. The event incorporates a gold theme to represent childhood cancer awareness and adds holiday elements to the park environment. Each registration provides an official Bold for Gold Tour T-shirt, a finisher medal, and entry into hourly door-prize drawings.
