Candy Cane Course - Lincoln

The Candy Cane Course - Lincoln is a Christmas-themed race day at Holmes Lake Park in Lincoln, Nebraska. It offers distances from a free kids dash (no swag) up to longer road-race options. The event is designed for families and competitive runners alike: the Kids Dash is untimed for children 10 and under, the 1 Mile is untimed, and the 5K, 10K, and 15K provide more challenging routes for adults and older children. Race-day amenities enhance the event: chip timing with live results and awards, complimentary participant photos, a designer shirt, custom bibs, finisher medals, and post-race treats. Children registered for the dash receive a mini bib, youth shirt, and their own medal, with youth pricing available for the 5K-style races for those 12 and under. A virtual option exists for participants who want the shirt and medal but cannot attend in person. In-person runners should note that Holmes Lake Park has a parking fee, waived for those with an RSU Annual Pass.
