CASA of Wise & Jack Counties Superhero 5K 2026

The CASA of Wise & Jack Counties Superhero 5K begins at Main and State streets in downtown Decatur, Texas. It includes a 5K and a Youth Untimed 5K, designed for families, walkers, runners, and children, not solely competitive racers. Children under 12 participate at no cost. Participants are encouraged to wear capes, aligning with the superhero theme without adding complexity. The race supports CASA of Wise and Jack counties, an organization assisting children in the foster care system. It also aims to raise awareness about child abuse and neglect. Proceeds fund the recruitment and training of volunteer advocates for children in foster care. Those who register by the shirt deadline receive a race shirt with their registration.
