Chase the Rainbow 5k Run/Walk 2027

The Chase the Rainbow 5k Run/Walk is a St. Patrick's Day 5K held at Bridgeway Station as part of the Upstate Race Series, welcoming both runners and walkers. Registration begins in September, with fees set at $19 for adults and $15 for individuals aged 1 to 17. The initial 100 registrants will receive custom race socks, and participants have the opportunity to get a $5 refund by referring two friends. The course crosses the Bridgeway Station Bridge and incorporates a section of the Swamp Rabbit Trail, described as flat and fast. The event embraces the holiday theme, encouraging green attire. The finish line offers complimentary beer, and the rainbow motif is present throughout the race. Contributions via the Upstate Race Series benefit the Giving Series and 28 local charities. Future events may feature alterations to the course, venue, or timing, alongside new merchandise, clothing, and awards.
