Informazioni su questa gara
The Central Indiana Adventure Race (CIA) is an autumn event in central Indiana offering 12-hour and 4-hour race options. Teams of two or three, along with solo participants, will travel by foot, bike, and canoe, navigating using a map and compass. The objective is to locate as many checkpoints as possible before the time limit; the highest score determines the winner.
The 12-hour race is designed for participants seeking an extended challenge across various disciplines. CIA Lite provides a 4-hour option, suitable for beginners and families, featuring a reduced gear list, straightforward navigation, and no map plotting. This structure allows experienced racers to tackle the full-day event, while newcomers can engage in the checkpoint-finding format with less time pressure and technical demands.
