Allora, il Coldwater Traverse è una gara di trail che fanno nel nord dello Utah, e ti danno due opzioni: 11 o 16 miglia. Quello più lungo parte dalle colline di Pleasant View, mentre il corto inizia a North Ogden. Quindi, due punti di partenza diversi, ma poi il percorso è lo stesso, scende lungo il fianco della montagna, sempre verso sud.
Per entrambe le distanze si usa il Bonneville Shoreline Trail, quello che va verso sud. Quindi, la gara punta molto su una corsa costante in trail lungo il Wasatch Front, proprio diversa dalle velocità che si fanno su strada. Gli organizzatori sono Endurance Utah LLC.
