Death by 5k Albuquerque

The third edition of this 24-hour challenge at Balloon Fiesta Park requires participants to run ten 5ks, starting each 5k 2.5 hours apart. The Death by 5k course uses paved roads and multi-use paths. This event tests participants mentally and physically, pushing through fatigue, sleep deprivation, and running in the dark. Between each 5k, there's space to sleep in your car or a tent. Food, snacks, water, and Gatorade will be provided. Finishers will earn one of the coveted coffin awards.
