Dirty Sheets Gravel Grind

The Dirty Sheets Gravel Grind features a 20-mile gravel loop in Chattahoochee Hills, South Fulton County, approximately 30 minutes south of Atlanta. The ride begins at Cochran Mill Park and is suitable for riders on mountain or cyclocross bikes. The loop is typically completed in a clockwise direction. The initial section follows Upper Wooten Road, a former county dirt road that has been closed to vehicles for nearly five miles. Following this, the course continues on rural gravel roads with limited pavement and very little vehicle traffic before concluding back at Cochran Mill Park. Despite its proximity to downtown Atlanta and the airport, the riding environment quickly becomes distinctly rural.
