Fort Worth YMCA Turkey Trot presented by Texas Health and Moritz Dealerships

The Fort Worth YMCA Turkey Trot begins and ends at General Worth Square in Downtown Fort Worth on Thanksgiving morning. Participants can select a timed 5K or timed 8K race. Younger children have a separate 1K Youth Gobbler Trot prior to the main races. The event has been held annually since 1981, attracting multiple generations of families. These include children participating in the short fun run and adults who race or walk before their Thanksgiving activities. It ranks as one of the largest races in Texas. One hundred percent of net proceeds benefit local families via the YMCA. Texas Health and Moritz Dealerships are major sponsors.
