Fowl Play 5k

The Fowl Play 5k is a Thanksgiving morning fun run and walk in Leavenworth, Washington. Check-in begins at 8:30 AM, with the 5 km community turkey trot starting at 9:00 AM. This is not a timed race, and both the start and finish are located at the gazebo near 800 Front Street. The course utilizes the Waterfront Park river trail. The event proceeds regardless of weather conditions. Costumes, pets, children in strollers, walkers, and runners are welcome. Approximately 430 people have participated, even during inclement weather. The Cascade High School Cross Country team organizes the race, with proceeds benefiting the team. This Thanksgiving tradition has been maintained for over ten years.
