Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry's TURKEY TROT 5K 2026

Before the turkey goes in the oven, hundreds of runners, walkers, and families line up in Beaufort, South Carolina, for Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry’s Turkey Trot 5K. This Thanksgiving race is in its seventh year and raises support for Habitat’s work helping local families get safe, affordable housing. The route uses Beaufort’s historic streets. The field mixes local runners, visiting runners, families, and people moving at very different speeds. Costumes are part of the morning, and the race also counts as the third jewel of the Beaufort Triple Crown, alongside Run Forest Run 5K and the Swing Bridge Run 5K.
